First Steps

This first step is my last step, there’s no turning back. 

I’ve dreamed, I’ve hoped, I’ve chased and now it’s time. Time to leap. Time to let go.

What will I find when my feet touch the ground? What will the new season hold? 

Will I run, will I jump, will I find. Find what I’ve been looking for? 

The road behind me was costly, but the gains ahead are greater still. Glory is a beaming light and a blazing trail! I’ve come too far to turn around, I’ve stood too long to think I’ll fail. God is with me. God is for. God has called me, and now I’ll go. 

Go! Go past the premises and beyond the bounds. Out to the outskirts of my own pounding feet, pushing me forward to what I believe will be my greatest adventure yet. 

A new frontier is waiting. Waiting for me!
